Here is a diet that I came across online which can help you to
lose up to 10 pounds in just three days. It was supposedly created by a
former army soldier based on his training during his time in the army. I
have tried this diet myself twice now. It's not too drastic and does
produce good results. The amount of weight that you can actually lose
will depend largely on your current condition and fitness level. For
instance, if you are in decent shape and fairly lean, you probably won't
lose 10 pounds during the diet. However, if you are in poor shape and
overweight, you could lose more than 10 pounds.
You
must follow this diet precisely and cannot deviate from it at all
during the 3 days. There is to be no snacking between meals and you can
drink as much water as you want at any time.
Day 1:
Breakfast - ½ grapefruit, 1 slice of toast, 2 tablespoons of peanut butter, and unsweetened black coffee or tea
Lunch - ½ cup of tuna, 1 slice of toast, and unsweetened black coffee or tea
Dinner - 2 slices of any type of meat (about 3 ounces), 1 cup of green beans, ½ banana, 1 small apple, and 1 cup of vanilla ice cream
Day 2:
Breakfast - 1 egg, 1 slice of toast, and ½ banana
Lunch - 1 cup of cottage cheese (or 1 slice of cheddar cheese), 1 hard-boiled egg, and 5 saltine crackers
Dinner - 2 hot dogs (no buns), 1 cup of broccoli, ½ cup of carrots, ½ banana, and ½ cup of vanilla ice cream
Day 3:
Breakfast - 5 saltine crackers, 1 slice of cheddar cheese, and 1 small apple
Lunch - 1 hard-boiled egg, and 1 slice of toast
Dinner - 1 cup of tuna, ½ banana, and 1 cup of vanilla ice cream
The diet supposedly works on chemical breakdown. After the 3 days, go back to your regular diet, then if you want, you can repeat again after 4 days. If you repeat this cycle every 4 days, you could lose up to 40 pounds in month. I found that the first 2 days weren't so bad, but by the third day, I felt pretty hungry by the end of the day. If you are a regular coffee drinker, you may experience a dull headache by the end of the third day from caffeine withdrawal. Remember no coffee or tea after the first day, only water.
